A benzodiazepine derivative that exerts anxiolytic, sedative  , anticonvulsant and amnestic effects.

Vɑ𝓁𝓁ium is indicated for the management of the following:

• Anxiety disorders or for the short term relief of the symptoms of anxiety
• Symptomatic Relief in Acute Alcohol Withdrawal, relief of acute agitation, tremor, impending or acute delirium tremens and hallucinosis (severe form of alcohol withdrawal)
• For Relief of Skeletal Muscle Spasm / Muscle pain
• Adjunctively in Convulsive Disorders or to certain types of epilepsy (eg myoclonus).
• Premedication for the nervous dental patient.Premedication before surgery
• Used for insomnia, and restless legs syndrome.

 

*Accompanying use of diazepam with alcohol and/or CNS depressants should be avoided. Please consult your doctor for proper guidance and dosage for your needs.
